5-Day Coromandel Classic
Day 1 Down State Highway 1 and out across the Hauraki Plains before travelling onto the Coromandel Peninsula and the scenic coastline to Coromandel beforecrossing the Ranges and to The Dunes Matarangi Golf Course where our Golfing Classic begins. After our round we'll travel 30mins to Whitianga where we'll spend our first night.
Day 2 We have a mid-morning Tee-off at the Mercury Bay Golf Club where we'll mix in with locals and enjoy their Clubhouse and hospitality before travelling back down the Coast to Whangamata where we'll stay the next 2 nights and maybe head over to the local RSA or Workingmans Club for a meal and ale.
Day 3 The Whangamata Golf Course has a meandering stream flowing just about everywhere and there won't be many of us that aren't "fishing" golf balls sometime thru the day.
Day 4 Today is "test" day with the challenge offered by the Lakes Resort Course set to test everyone's game! After our round we'll over the Ranges and into Thames where we'll stay at the Coastal Motor Lodge and possibly the local Workingman's Club or selection of Hotels and Restaurants maybe to your liking.
Day 5 Our last game is offered by the Hauraki Golf Club where a mid-morning Tee time awaits before journeying out of the Coromandel and back to home base to conclude our 5-Day Coromandel Classic.
